Poem for Our Heavenly Father

I thank You Father, that on the darkest night,

Where You are, there’s always light,

Life without You, was no life at all,

So we thank You Lord, for Your call.

You teach us how to love and forgive,

And show us how in dying, we live,

We ask You Lord, to help us shine,

As beacons of Your love, Divine.

Your Holy Spirit lights the way,

In what to do and what to say,

So guide us Lord, in all we do,

Help us make our hearts more true.

All that we are, Let it be for thee,

Our Heavenly Father, who helps us to see,

And to lift You up and give You praise,

Be our heart’s desire, till the end of days.
